Bloom ~

Here’s a look at how Spring

is unfolding at our house.

Our apple espaliers are in

full bloom,

making for a pretty backdrop

to our

courtyard fountain.

The fig tree leaves are

beginning to

unfurl and

the lavender wall

is a glorious

silvery green

once again!

Hankering for an instant

pop of color, I

cheated a bit, bringing in

a few pots of  lavender in

full bloom! Love the purple

spires against

 the worn

 zinc urns.

A stone’s throw away, peas

are poised to

scramble up the

the rusty old

obelisks, protecting the

columnar apple trees…

from flying basketballs and

the Tuscan Blue

Rosemary is

showing off.

My seed starts meanwhile, are

potted and getting

acclimated

to the great outdoors.

Oh, we’ve spruced up the

carriage house garage doors a bit,

borrowing a few

pots that used to flank the

entry.

Found something with a little

lighter touch…for the front door.

Looking forward to sharing…planting later today.

But for now,

That’s what is going on in

our garden…

how does your garden

grow?
