Looks like a scene,” right out of Jane Austen novel,” said a

dear friend of mine, but this golden-hour picnic, was actually

laid out, under an old Maple tree, on the beautiful landscape that is

Chateau Ste Michelle Winery, in Woodinville, WA.

The view is breathtaking. Rows of grapevines, a wide sweep of

green grass, I mean, c’mon, it’s the perfect place for a

September picnic shoot right?  Such a

treat to take our 425 Magazine September invite, on the

road! Thank you Chateau Ste Michelle!

(Insider info: Photographer Rodrigo De Medeiros and I shot this

feature, on a whopping 90-degree day!)

Picnic Style

 What to Bring

A vintage hamper, heaped with homemade goodness and a vintage white tote, filled with

(obvs) delicious Chateau Ste Michelle wine, in pretty aluminum bottles. What more does

a girl NEED?

Okay, maybe an idyllic pond, a gorgeous candelabra

a few antique serving boards, cushions and

shiny tins of sausage and egg mini pies,

and more… (What?? I have needs!)

All casually laid out, on a white eyelet (shower curtain) picnic blanket.

(Insider Info: The beautiful artwork on the

Chateau Ste Michelle wine bottles, inspired the September picnic theme ~ from

the eyelet (Target) throw to the blooms, candleabra and  linens!)

The golden hour picnic is set….

Hop on over to 425 Magazine  for more pretty details and ALL of my recipes!

Cheers to September picnics and the

golden hour of the calendar year.
