At the Front Door ~
I picked up new, very traditional, triple
boxwood ball topiaries for our front door..
a pair of them.
But here’s the twist, I’ve planted them, in these simple, vintage containers.
I love the combination of the more the refined plants in the
rustic, white washed metal planters.
So festive for the holidays!
I also replanted the fancy fluted urn situated on
on our hammered copper table. I selected
two varieties of ruffled green & white kale…
and black & white pansies and violas for
all of the front door containers.
The dark ones
are a favorite of mine. They’re called…
h~a~l~l~o~w~e~e~n.
I think you can see why :)
I pick up a few of these every year. It’s one of my
favorite little fall rituals. I love the B & W combo.
I also added a simple white pumpkin on a
pewter tray and a little rock I had
engraved with our son’s name…
it’s a perfect start for my
Halloween decorating,
Knock! Knock! Who has the prettiest house of them all? Monica, of course :) Love the pair of vintage galvanize containers!!

Love the display! Pansies are a favorite any time of year for me and I love white pumpkins. Our house has a lot of white inside and out so I chose one that had lots of tannish colored “warts” on it. They pair so lovely with a dark orange flat pumpkin and a deep golden gourd or two. I love fall…
…he is uber talented and he is clever too! Thank you Loi, very sweet! xxo M
Oh Mindy, sounds lovely…’warts’ and all! I love fall too!
