The Easter Basket

 As you may know, I

love Easter baskets…

 Especially the handmade

variety. They are darling, tied to the

back of a chair at your Easter table.

Better Homes & Gardens featured a

lovely one on Pinterest.

So I decided to pull together a little

 basket of my own.

My version, is a vintage

inspired children’s

basket made from odds and ends.

It’s rather shabby but I don’t mind.

The worn metal container is a pencil holder.

I used leftover screen material from our

new pantry cabinet to

make the bunny ears...Love the tinsel

garland trim.

Wavy copper tape, covers

the rough edges and

a few foil eggs peek out of

the straw grass.

 A mismatch

of

 tiny espresso

cups,

cutlery

and

baby china,

make for a casually cute table setting.

I added fresh

berries

& petite cupcakes,

* * *

wooden spools for

flower holders and

a sweet book, for a quick

table side, story time.

No big to do...just a few

odds & ends, pulled together to

create a little Easter

magic,

Monica
