My grilled peach and lemon ricotta crostini with fresh fragrant basil!
So yummy! It’s summer party food personified!
When culinary inspiration hits me….it usually looks something like this ~ with
delish ingredients sprawled out on
the kitchen counter. Ingredients like:
Fresh, ripe peaches bathed in…
a golden combo of good olive oil and Italian Honey from the Cansiglio Forest,
a loaf of freshly baked bread sliced and drizzled with the honey olive oil mixture and
grilled on the stovetop until both are golden brown.
The toasty bread is slathered with ricotta cheese, laced with lemon zest, french salt and
white pepper.
Just layer on the caramelized peaches, add some torn basil and you have
one gorgeous summer crostini…for the ages!
