Rustic ~ Earthy ~ Elegance…
… Seems to be my mantra this holiday season…And this Burlap Beauty…is no exception!
It’s a simple…two seam bag…with a hemp twine tie….an easy sewing project…if you are a seamstress extraordinaire…like my sister Linda Sacco…lucky me…thank you Linda! I added a gorgeous old world Italian ‘wreath’ image (Graphics Fairy)…ironed on to canvas….and here’s why…
I’m setting the Holiday table for the Celebrations Holiday Home Tour…thought it would be lovely to tie one of these to the back of each dining chair….
…filled with a bundle of fresh herbs n’ greens….
So I snipped a few Rosemary and Olive branches from the Gardens….bound them with twine…and….
Tucked them in! Can’t wait to see a Burlap Bag tied to each of our ornate cherry chairs…the greens spilling over….the fragrance of one alone…is intoxicating! I make a tasty vodka and bay Prime Rib each Christmas…the two will ‘marry’ nicely!
What a cool remembrance and takeaway for holiday guests….the Burlap Bag can hold wine and olive oil bottles…for years to come. Next up…Burlap Banners…with dreamy sentiments!
Our holiday decor is beginning to take shape…the tour is right around the corner.
Ciao,
Monica

Shoot, just lost my comment. Love these bags, and I’ve got plenty to fill them. The burlap and the image are such great choices. Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful!!! What a great gift idea! Thanks for linking this up to Brag Monday.
