Orchids in the Entry

A touch of the tropics!

 That’s what  orchids  add to the design mix. I especially love them in the entry,

where they set the tone for a tropical getaway  right at home. They just exude exotic  don’t they?

Paired with a golden sunburst  mirror they say, glamour…to me.

I’m currently craving little pink orchids. So pretty off of the oyster gray  colored walls of our entry.

Love the orchid & succulent combo, you?

BTW, the good ol’ common Phalaenopsis  is good enough  by me. Especially when my Trader Joes

offers great orchids at a great price!

I know they have a fussy  rep but If you give orchids natural light, keep them away from

blasts of heat and well watered but 

never soggy, you should have great luck growing them. 

Orchids are wonderful in white too.
