Beautiful Butterfly
A quick post today…
as it is dress rehearsal night for our little party.
Still much to do!
Making a sweet butterfly ‘mobile’
of sorts,
to hang from my sister Carol’s,
classic,
gorgeous,
new chandelier!
Do you like it?
(Talked her into it…so glad she said yes!)
And what could be more fitting
for our French themed baby shower,
than the delicate butterfly…
a symbol of new life.
I used a die cut from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames to make
a bunch of vellum butterflies for mere pennies.
I dusted them with
a little glitter…
and suspended them
from simple twine.
The result is innocent,
ethereal,
magical…
not unlike,
a newborn child.
