Mule me!
I’m drooling over this cocktail concoction! It’s SO says FALL to me!
It’s my Persimmon & Spice Moscow Mule served up in gorgeous
West Elm copper mugs! Here are the deets:
I’m obsessed with persimmons right now…the taste, texture and color –
Love it ALL and very autumn like!
For this little fall cocktail elixir, I infused good vodka with persimmon slices,
a cinnamon stick and a vanilla bean. I let that delish combo hang out for several hours.
Meanwhile, I peeled and pureed several pretty persimmons. Swoon!
Note: Freeze what you don’t immediately use and roll it into
muffins and breads! Recipe to come!
Next, chop some fresh ginger and make some fresh squeezed orange juice.
Brew up some minty simple syrup.
{ONE part water to ONE part granulated sugar and a
spring of fresh mint simmered on the stove top for a few minutes.}
Strain and chill.
Okay, it’s muddling time!
Muddle this:
1.5 shots persimmon & spice vodka
half a shot simple syrup
half a shot of fresh squeezed orange juice
3 tablespoons persimmon puree
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Strain, pushing as much of the goodness through as possible and
pour into ice filled West Elm Mule Mug and top with Ginger Ale!
Cheers to fall persimmon passion!
I am so going to mix this in October. Your images are beautiful. Do you mind sharing what camera you use?
Happy Autumn, Monica. Thank you for this inspiration!

Hi Lynne!
Thank you for the nice comment :) I started using my I – phone camer. I
have the new one and just found that It takes great pics and it is always at
my finger tips. I use an app only if needed to improve my lighting situation and crisp it up a bit. Thank you for visiting!
