It’s a parade of pumpkins at our house! Some are plush with real stems and
dressed up with beautiful English brooches. While others…
are all glitter & glitz! {Pier 1}
I paired this sparkly gold number with an earthy wood
base. I love the unexpected combo of earth & glam.
In our kitchen, pumpkins and gourds are nestled in an antique English garden
tool box surrounded by feathers & fall flowers.
In our dining room, it’s all about fabulous fall layering. We layer on our
wardrobe come fall, why not our decor, right? This rich fall centerpiece is
simple to create. Here’s the easy how to:
I start with gorgeous gourds in cool hues of blue & gray and
cradle them in horns…yes, horns!
So fun! I march the duo down our dining room table atop
a mini hide runner.
I added a few, just snipped stems of magnolia from our garden
tucking them in here and there.
I adore the rich and velvety brown backs of the leaves. In fact, I love the
color so much that the magnolia leaves
are the inspiration for the custom paint on our dining room walls! Now that’s
obsession! I added a few of my fall holiday ornaments to the centerpiece
for a little glimmer.
I flanked the gourds with a pair of chippy wood railing
posts dressed up with deep blue ribbon and topped with pretty
etched glass candleholders.
Hmmm…I think we need to take our evening home meals up a notch and
have dinner in the formal dining room tonight!
