A Little Winter Sunshine

Nothing like a few perky

daffodils to brighten a

dark, winter day.

It’s not that I want to push spring…

I mean, I love, layering on cozy blankets on a

cold winter night; enjoying a great bowl of soup or 

a thick stew with a crusty hunk of bread and

dining…

fireside. Don’t

you? But there’s nothing

wrong with a little

winter dose of sunshine…

in a pot or vase.

Daffs do it for me. Especially, the petite variety.

These, were ‘three for $10’ at my

local market.

How could I resist?

Had to pull together a quick little

sunny winter

vignette.

 Now, I think I’ll whip up

a pot of one of my favorite

soups to go with…

 ‘French Lentil Soup with Pancetta’ is

on the menu tonight,
