A dose of spring


I desperately needed a new hint of spring, at our front door. You?

So I headed off to one of my favorite garden stores

and picked up a little of this and that.


In the mix, some white English Daises (so sweet)

and ‘Mon Amie Blue’ Myosotis.

Herbs, always say ‘spring’ to me,


so I grabbed chives, lime thyme and purple sage.


The ‘Fiesty Peas,’ with their wild tendrils,

just had to come home with me.


I tucked in a lone speckled egg in the tiniest of urns


and a simple note, in the tines,


to say,

‘Forget-Me-Not’…

spring is almost here.

It’s a start.
