We’re ALL, a wee bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
Loving this f r e s h spring floral centerpiece for St. Paddy’s,
especially since ALL of these potted plants…can be popped into my garden containers, after the day is done.
Ranunculus, Cosmos and geraniums, will brighten up our spring garden and the white color scheme will
go with anything I choose to plant there after.
Time now for an Irish twist – on the Moscow Mule.
Meet the Irish Mule. SO festive and delish. Just swap out the vodka for (Irish) whiskey,
grab the hammered copper mugs, add, freshly squeezed lime juice, fresh mint and
a drop of minty simple syrup, and you have a yummy twist on a classic cocktail.
The IRISH Mule ~
Ingredients:
2 ounces whiskey
1.5 ounces fresh lime juice
several sprigs of fresh mint
1 ounce minty simple syrup
(1 to 1 ratio of water to granulated sugar. Add 4 sprigs of fresh mint.
Simmer in a stove top pan, until the sugar is dissolved. Cool, strain and chill. )
6 ounces ginger beer
ice cubes
Method:
Add the whiskey, lime juice, syrup and fresh mint to a copper mug and muddle.
Fill the mug with ice and top with ginger beer.
Garnish with a slice of lime and a sprig of mint.
CHEERS to St. Patrick’s Day.

I loved seeing you at Fred Meyers yesterday with these beautiful flowers purchased. It’s even better seeing what you’ve created with those items here.
You are just as pretty in person as in photos and very kind hearted! Enjoyed my little ‘celebrity moment’… :)
Oh, thank you for the kind words Laura 😊 Made my day. It was lovely getting the chance to talk to YOU, especially since you are a fellow Gardner! I don’t know about celebrity :) but I love my work. Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀
