We’re ALL, a wee  bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

 Loving this f r e s h  spring floral centerpiece for St. Paddy’s,

especially since ALL of these potted plants…can be popped into my garden containers, after the day is done.

Ranunculus, Cosmos and geraniums, will brighten up our spring garden and the white color scheme will

go with anything I choose to plant there after.

Time now for an Irish twist – on the Moscow Mule.

Meet the Irish Mule. SO festive and delish. Just swap out the vodka for (Irish) whiskey,

grab the hammered copper mugs, add, freshly squeezed lime juice, fresh mint and

a drop of minty simple syrup, and you have a yummy twist on a classic cocktail.

The IRISH Mule ~

Ingredients:

2 ounces whiskey

1.5 ounces fresh lime juice

several sprigs of fresh mint

1 ounce minty simple syrup

(1 to 1 ratio of water to granulated sugar.  Add 4 sprigs of fresh mint.

6 ounces ginger beer

ice cubes

Method:

Add the whiskey, lime juice, syrup and fresh mint to a copper mug and muddle.

Fill the mug with ice and top with ginger beer.
