A treasured ‘heirloom’

rose from our

grandmother’s garden.


Our Grandmother Nettie adored her beautiful

roses. The pampered bushes, graced her

front garden. When the time

came, my sisters and I each

dug up a rose bush, as a

soulful reminder of our Grandma’s

beauty and grace.

It’s blooming once again now,

A single rose, in a

simple Juliska vase, within a

weathered barn wood frame.

Pretty as a sentimental picture…don’t you

think?

I think, our Grandma Nettie is

smiling.
