Holiday Entrances ~

A fragrant holiday greeting

awaits at our front door as

the holiday transition is underway.

Our old fluted urn is now

brimming with

pretty paperwhites and

bright green reindeer moss.

Reindeer moss…the name alone, makes me smile.

I fashioned, olive branches and

pine twigs into a very

natural  support, for the often leggy  paperwhites.

The pine meanwhile, sits in

our old vintage  bucket. The one

that pleasantly reminds me of my grandpa’s old seed pail.

I hope the combo of paperwhites and

pine, placed casually…

on our old hammered copper table, makes for 

an earthy  and

fragrant  holiday

welcome.
