In the garden right now, sweet violets are in bloom!
Shy, shrinking & showy…much has been written about this
delicate and fragrant flower.
{See Shakespeare – Twelfth Night!}
Each year, I look forward to the little purple clusters popping up here & there and the
sweet scent of violet wafting through our garden. The beautiful blooms don’t last
long, once cut but for me…a little Violet bouquet goes a long way
especially in my favorite antique filigree vial.
It’s one of those perennial garden delights.
Have a sweet Monday and almost forgot…
happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Making an Irish beef stew tonight :)
