Clearing away the holiday ‘clutter’…

As lovely as it may be…

Because underneath…waiting…

is a clean slate…

…a fresh start.

Seize it…Rethink it…

And then slowly…layer in…

what you love.

In this case, a simple, French style basket, adds texture…

replacing a large stone urn that held Holiday Flowers.

A cast, of an antler, is borrowed from the dining room…

And a pair of footed (love anything footed) glass hurricanes…

pulled from the family room …

now flank the basket.

Hmm…what else can we find…

An industrial style metal tray perhaps? Potted Flowers for color?

This may require a quick shopping trip….

borrow from other rooms…

edit what you have…

and reinvent…

how you live!
