Rumpled Romance ~
I spotted this yummy, linen
flounced skirt on sale and thought
hmmm…
It’s actually a bed skirt but I
have been looking for something to
dress up our informal glass
dining table, off the kitchen…
mismatched chairs and all!
(I would love a new table but
it’s not a priority right now and
I like reworking what I have.)
So, I’m using this
linen bed skirt on our
table.
Why not? I was inspired by
a stunning dining table skirt, on the blog
My version isn’t a
perfect fit…
and that’s
fine with me because it’s dripping
with rustic romance. I love how
the crumpled linen looks against
my grandmother’s old
dining chairs.
I added a little
layering with
this wonderful linen
throw. Again, not a perfect fit but
I adore the
weight of it and both pieces are
washable!
Next, I layered on vintage
French Linen.
The red stripes are
perfect for
Valentine’s Day.
I like how this look doesn’t try
too hard and yet it’s
warm and inviting.
The see through
quality, almost makes me
blush.
Add a
simple
centerpiece, with
a nod toward
Valentine’s Day
or something a
little bit more
Involved…
Either way…
Won’t you stay
for
lunch?
