Fresh ~

Lately, I’ve been drawn to room designs
with bits of bright color and touches
of glimmering GOLD! Gold is SO glamourous and clear
color brings such energy to a room!
I’m am also currently obsessed with the
notion of the UN-decorated room. It’s an eclectic mix,
that is LOW on matchy-matchy decor and
HIGH on imagination! With that in mind, I

launched my seasonal decor switch (again!!). You know the one, where I beg,
borrow and shop from home, to give our rooms a

fresh new feel for
free! Well almost free, I did pick up a cool new

side table! LOVE the chunky GOLD chain base and white
marble top! Hey, a girls gotta have some fun,
right? Anyway, here’s what transpired:
A few small, existing tables were moved from here to there…

This corner table, now holds a collections of family photos…
and this English ‘hunt’ style table, now sits off the
kitchen and works beautifully serving up a

colorful continental

breakfast!

I pulled in, framed
vintage luggage tags

as artwork and a
simple antiqued mirror.

I borrowed some some fluffy white
pillows…

(Haley’s Cottage) from the
living room and

B & W hounds-tooth from the
media room. I picked up a gold mesh

number for glam extra seating.

I set up a
fancy bar on our sideboard.

It’s a collections of pretty
glassware, edged in GOLD and

glamour. Love the recycled Chambord bottle.
Next, I went on a home-wide hunt for color & gold. When I came up
SHORT on both, I had to get

creative. I used bright books…
jewelry boxes and
graphic picture frames to add some freshness
and then I painted the town

gold…
just a few golden highlights, actually, but
AVA, our Golden Retriever, looked
worried :) I brought in fragrant fresh flowers

and greenery…
Inexpensive place mats add a bright Moroccan vibe

I love the the of string of pearl lamps,
borrowed from the living room & entry!
I added even more color with natural,
edible arrangements of fresh

citrus and a pretty, gold framed vintage hour

glass print, from a
childhood friend. You see…
It’s TIME for another Girls Night In at
our house! The theme…
‘Simply Citrus’…Can’t wait!
Our rooms have a fun new energy and a

fresh eclectic mix.
AND it didn’t cost me much…to undecorate,
