Good morning from NYC!
Images ~ Jeanne Curtis
No, I’m not traveling (darn)…but La Famiglia contributor,
Jeanne Curtis recently hit the road and she sent me these lovely fall images from
a Farmers Market on New York City’s upper west side.
I love the thought of a bucolic Farmers Market in the
heart of America’s biggest city. A slice of
country, amid the citified…in
‘the city that never sleeps’.
I’m am SO making some of these
herb wreaths for the holidays.
Thank you Jeanne!
Hope your weekend is off to a great start,
Thanks to Jeanne for those fabulous photos! I love, love the herb wreath. What a cool idea. And a great dinner party gift for the host / hostess.
xoxo

Hi All…gotta say, we were really experiencing the CALM before the STORM just a week ago in NYC…It was such a lovely day on Saturday, and my husband and I had a nice walk, lunch etc. on our last day in the city before we flew home Saturday night. Even our hotel was “downplaying” the impending storm. It is hard to grasp all the horrible stories we have been reading and hearing about since we left. Altho’ we feel blessed to have had a great vacation, our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are suffering as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
