Eat, drink & be merry!

So excited to share our

Girls Night In…

holiday style!

We’ll meet the gals in a minute…

but first, gotta  set  the scene, right?

The evening kicked off with an all natural

holiday welcome and

plenty of  Ho Ho,

holiday glow.

The house was

luminous , lit like a

Christmas tree…flocked

and green,

with a glass garland of

 fresh cut flowers.

Okay, now it’s time

to meet the girls!

Hello ladies!!!

Well, after a long day at the office,  I

figured they were parched, so we started them

off, sipping sparkling water, in

festive, individual bottles with striped straws! Love!

While introductions were underway,

We nibbled on

roasted rosemary cashews, in

simple parchment cones.

Then it was

holiday cocktail time!

An individual shaker  for each

guest, 18  in all, filled with my

 Pomegranate Rosemary Martinis.

We pre-sugared  all of the glass rims and

slipped in a bright, cherry red… extra,

on a fresh rosemary pick.

So fragrant & fun, I call it, The Santa Baby.

We added ice and

all  the girls had to do…is

shake , pour and

toast , to a blessed

holiday season with

friends

& family.

Thirst quenched…it was time to eat!

My fab team, helped me

serve up the Crab Bisque ,

straight from the stove top.

Next came dessert ,

individual apple & cranberry

pies, topped with orange & vanilla bean

biscuits. They were piping hot, straight from the

oven & eventually

dressed with a dollop of mascarpone,

honey & Grand Marnier. Can that be wrong???

We topped it all off with

a little bubbly  & a trip to

the candy bar.

That was it for the menu, though I think there was  a

mini cranberry~pomegranate & pink champagne palate cleanser Popsicle

served in there, somewhere :)

The girls were sweet,  to comment on

my little sparkling

‘Orange & Bay’

set up in the dining room and

a few other

 very special

holiday touches.

The evening included Christmas songs

around the baby grand. Diane Wainhouse was so gracious to

treat us with an impromptu mini concert! We

sang a few familiar carols…so cool!  And so, with

the sound of beautiful music

echoing through the halls, the glow of our

Girls Night In, Holiday Edition began

to wind down. A very heartfelt

thank you once again to

Cindy Sullivan,

of Haley’s Cottage

 for organizing the

guest list and spoiling us with

these gorgeous  holiday candles from

Rendezvous Candles!!

Thank you to the girl behind the lense,
