Happy September!

We’ve turned another page on the calendar! Can you believe it’s SEPTEMBER?

The FALL shift is underway at our house. Yours?

It’s that time of year when I crave rich  harvest colors, earthy extras and COMFORT food!!!

While away on a trip to Walla Walla, “the guys” trimmed one of our Magnolia trees, 

leaving me a container of gorgeous green and velvety brown leaved

branches! I’m tucking them in to each & every vibrant fall arrangement!

I just love one bold statement pop of color in an otherwise neutral backdrop.

I’m cozying up our living spaces too…

cowhide numbers paired with my signature bits of gold. I call it the – pioneer gal meets

glam girl vibe!  {I think I’ve created a new genre here :) }

 Come fall…I pull out the tray tables for easy autumn  bites and sips.

Small berry bouquets & grape leaves from our kitchen garden pair

well with worn vintage containers.

 To me, fall is all about comfort, earth & warmth.

 It’s about taking advantage of the garden’s fall  bounty.

{Just plucked these  fresh, crisp apples from our mini espalier orchard!}
