Fast and furious they {the blog posts} came….
From now until Christmas, like you, I’m decking the halls and baking Christmas cookies!
I’m taking tons of pretty holiday snapshots to share as I go along…like this
thrifty and fun holiday cookie box! So simple and it’s a cool way
to display your holiday cookies, plus…it makes an #inspired hostess gift!
Okay, this is just a craft store box (Ben Franklin Crafts & Frames)
with dividers,
recycled and cut down from wine box cases! I dressed up the
presentation with colorful wax
paper, ribbon, crinkle, fresh flowers in florist tubes
& GOLD cupcake liners!
These Swedish gingerbread-like cookies, called Tomten are a family favorite and
a Christmas tradition at our house. Our son and I make these for Santa each & every year.
{He is now in college! Now that’s a longstanding holiday tradition!!}
I made this batch a little early for my holiday segment on KING 5 Morning News!
Here’s a tip! Make extra cookie dough and freeze it, then
bake it off Christmas Eve so that Santa’s cookies & milk are super fresh!
C’mon, the BIG GUY deserves it, right?
Yes, save room for holiday dessert and
I hope you save time to come back and
visit my holiday snapshots!
Merry merry,
