If you are looking for an e a s y way to give your summer gatherings some pretty pizzazz…
try this ~
GLAM ice buckets with serious Flower Power! Yes, I’m
back with more of my summer entertaining guide :)
I mean c’mon…who doesn’t love a gorgeous Grenache Rosé on a hot summer day, right?
out of Walla Walla, Washington is one of my faves!`
Now, if you simply add a few pretty flowers into the ice bucket well,
you have a summer party waiting to happen. Here’s the How-To.
I love plucking fresh, organic edible flowers from our garden and putting them on/in ice.
{ If you plant now, you can enjoy them ALL summer long! }
In a pinch, you can also find organic edible flowers in the produce section of your
local market, so no worries!
MY edible flower garden includes:
Nasturtiums, calendula, marigolds and scented geranium blooms! I also
have plenty of fragrant lavender…
in the garden and EVEN an herb fountain,
planted with mint, rosemary and thyme. I know, I have herb issues.
Anyway, here’s what I do to pretty up the ice bucket.
I recycle my empty (clean) milk cartons and fill them with H20 + fleurs and freeze. Run the carton under
a little warm water to release. Now THIS…..
is recycling at its best!
How pretty is this summer rosé wine bucket with the flowers literally glowing in the warm
summer light. Sprinkle in a few more blooms if you like. Add great glassware like these
gold speckled numbers from Anthropologie AND invite your gal pals over for sips!
Works for me…how about you?
Here’s to easy summer entertaining, ice buckets with flower power and
#Roseallday !
