Hide rugs ~

I’ve been eyeing  these for awhile now.

Finally, in a moment of shopping weakness,

which seems to happen quite a lot,

temptation…got the best of me!  

And so here it is,

rolled out in our living room, our new, snowy white

 hide  rug. Sorry, it’s hard to get a great ‘pic’  in

here, with my little camera! But you get  the idea.

It’s a great size and so soft  underfoot.

I love ,how it lightens  the room

and the high contrast with

our dark cherry floors. And yes,

I want desperately  to layer it over 

a large sisal rug of some sort but these things take time…

For now, I’m perfectly content to brew up a cup of tea and

cozy up to the fire,
