Valentine’s Day ~

L~O~V~E  

Our ‘family tree’ looked lonely, sans

the old snapshots it held during

the holidays, so I dressed it up with

l~o~v~e.

Burlap

love. Simple, rustic burlap heart-shaped

pillows, stenciled with love and filled with

crinkle paper. And I’m not sure why, but

this Valentines Day, I’m

loving lavender, purple and

periwinkle.

Thus, the sweet scented

purple

hyacinths, in a footed

bowl. J’taime….

I like the look, like something ‘unearthed’

from a dusty old crate.

Fragrant freesias are

bound with

torn linen and

pearl pins.

The French wording, hints

at a chance romantic

encounter and a cut-glass

finger bowl

makes a

pretty vase.
