Think Spring!
A quick trip to
Molbak’s ,
a local garden store, has me
itching to roll up my sleeves &
play in the dirt! Amid
the bare root fruit trees…
and quaint white
garden sheds, I
spotted my …
spring plants of
choice! Long lasting…
English daisies,
vibrant green wheat grass…
and sweet peas!
L~O~V~E their
curly little tendrils.
I gathered up a nice box full of
spring and headed for home.
Now is a great time to usher in spring at
your front door. For me, it starts with clearing
off & wiping down
our old hammered copper table.
I also cleaned out the chippy white urn
that sits atop the outdoor table.
The urn ‘leftovers’ made a gorgeous outdoor
bouquet, on our blue-stone slab ledge.
I loaded the small spring haul…into my
worn wooden trudge, including…
a cool new, heart shaped
hand hoe…made in Holland.
Our dogs chewed the last one! I’m keeping my
fingers crossed that this hoe, doesn’t meet a
similar fate! Anyway, all that’s left now is to
plant, as I bring a little spring to our
front door. I’ll show you
how it turns out.
Can’t wait to see your new plantings! I’m doing the same thing right now……..still looking for just the right pots to frame my front door!

I was there yesterday and that garden shed stopped me in my tracks! I was wishing I would’ve taken a picture of it, glad you did! xoxo
I was running errands today and I almost bought some plants but I just didn’t have the motivation. However, after seeing your beautiful post, I am ready to start planting. BTW, I Love, love, love your copper table.
