Our dishes are neatly stacked…the glassware arranged …set off by the soft glow of new lighting and the subtle backdrop of F&B ‘French Gray.’ Too many dishwasher loads to count….with the end result a little ‘Marthaesque’….and I think it’s a ‘Good Thing.’

Our China…including my Grandmother’s treasured flower pattern… is poised for the next gathering…cake stands…malt and mimosa holders ready to serve…

The Scottish mugs that hold the Christmas Crab Bisque lined up like little toy soldiers…

Pantry knobs seem a to have a little more luster….

While sweet treats await on the pantry counter…

Our pantry is a place to arrange desserts and flowers…plate party platters ……and a clean up area for all the dishes following a languid meal.

The market list…on the old chalkboard…

....and a bulletin board…lit by a mini-chandelier…holds favorite photos…and graduation announcements…

A little lighting and accent paint…adds so much. We always intended to illuminate the pantry cabinets…a transformer…has been waiting…hidden by the crown moulding for six years! But our home is an ambitious project…that had to be finished over time…We knew that going in…still working on it! And with this latest update…I think our next gathering will be even more pleasurable…now that our Butler’s Pantry is ‘ship~shape’ …
