First Course  ~

So excited to share, a

first look, at

Girls Night In at Monica’s ~ a tribute to

m~o~m.

 Stefanie (Knowlton) captured

our evening

beautifully, from

the arrival of our

gorgeous guests, to

the lively  cocktail hour, featuring my

 old fashioned,

Lavender Martini Drops,

 shaken not

stirred. The pretty concoction,

got the evening

rolling! To go with...

salty bites

of

Parm

and homemade,

savory

shortbread crackers.

Speaking of

 handcrafted

Cindy  from Haley’ Cottage and

Haley, from Rendezvous Soy Candles,

created these

lovely, Lavender scented,

Mother’s  Day candles, for our guests…to

take home!  They are available

at Haley’s Cottage!

The candles and canvas,

illuminate the intrinsic meaning of

motherhood.

Our guests were also treated to

sweet Lavender

&

Biscotti  takeaways,

waiting at the door!

I joked that it was a little like being a guest on

‘The Ellen Show!’

To  help the gals get acquainted,

Cindy & Haley created these pretty jeweled

name tags!

We are so honored to have

so many returning  Girls Night In guests!

Others were first timers and a few even brought their

moms & daughters! Love it!

In fact, Cindy pulled together quite

a distinguished, diverse and talented

group of gals which

included: Three retail store owners, a fabulous jewelry maker,

and one of the top bloggers around. ALL of the women

were so gracious and fun! (More photos soon!)

I thought it would be fun,

to pull together a little

Mother’s Day  inspired

tablescape.

They seemed to

like it.

 I hope this

First Course,

wets your appetite for what’s

to come.

We haven’t even touched on the main, dessert

or the baking!

A heartfelt thank you to: Cindy & Haley, my

esteemed helpers, Linda, Carol, Christy, Stefanie, Sim and

Brandee!

Anyway, I hope you come back

for the

next  course,

Monica
