All through the house ~
Like you, I’m decking our halls for the holidays.
One tree is up, though still naked , as I post this…
but it’s a beauty! It went in the stand and up into the
well, of our floating staircase, without incident!
And it is still standing! Sweet!
Our flocked tree meanwhile, arrives tomorrow!
So for now…
here is a quick peek at our home, as it looked for the
Assistance League of the Eastside
Celebrations Holiday Home Tour...2010.
(It will be fun to compare the then & now, as much has changed in two years!)
The entry table,
The arrangement
dangling
over the wine table,
A sweet, tabletop kid tree
in a vintage French
rolling basket.
The lovely & simple, magnolia wreaths
in our dining room,
Italian handblown
glass ornaments
and herb swags,
and an earthy
centerpiece for the
main table,
The celebrations Home Tour 2012 is just
around the corner. Good luck, thank you
& happy decorating…to all of the homeowners!
Here is the ticket information.
All of our wreaths arrive this
weekend! Much to do!
Beautiful then! Monica, I like the wreath in the first photo….was it made of bay laurels? I can’t tell, and wish we can enlarge your photos :(
Thank you Loi! It is a bay laurel! Very fragrant. I ordered a few for this holiday season too. I used to be able to enlarge the blog photos…need to look into that… Did you find the pine come garland? xxo M
Awww, I can smell the fragrant bay laurel now!…LOVE it! Fun revisiting the beauty of your home last Christmas season, although I’m sure it’ll be even more beautiful this year!
