You know how I love to push the seasons, right?
So, even though we are in the thick of winter here in the Northwest,
I’m coaxing spring inside our home and you can too!

Many local markets are carrying Quince, Apple and Forsythia branches right now
and they are primed to bloom. So pretty, so simple and
SO rewarding to watch the tight little buds unfurl. I
picked up these lovely branches from Metropolitan Market.

What I love about the whole flowering branch thing is that they can last for a couple of weeks
if you change the water daily and keep them out of strong direct sunlight. So it’s a good
bang for the buck and a simple but beautiful blast of spring.
Thanks for hanging out,
