Bath Linen Hutch
lovely and sentimental new home.
Reinventing what we already have…
I’ve turned my grandmother’s antique china hutch into
a towel caddy.
I like the simple lines.
I love the subtle ripples in the
antique glass doors and the
smoky antique mirror.
And of course, I love that it was
grandma’s.
So old school,
with the cool metal casters…the
real deal.
I’m thinking about painting it…but for
sentimental reasons, it just
doesn’t feel right. So, to lighten up the piece,
I’ve added a few seaside
touches
and vintage glass
I thought this unframed
antiqued glass mirror
might look nice.
I brought in a vintage industrial
metal tray for
small towels and
gorgeous flowers in a
silver trophy.
That’s it, for now…
With the towel caddy
stocked,
All that’s left to do
is
Monica
I simply LOVE this! The china hutch looks fantastic as a linen hutch in your bath!…….casters and all…..so cool that they’re original! It fits perfectly in that corner. And, the sentimental fact that it belonged to Grandma makes it all the more special…….it’s such a lovely piece that you’ve reinvented several times over the years. You’re very fortunate to have it!
