Succulents
They are one of my summer
garden essentials!
They’re NOT fussy as long as you provide great
drainage but the ARE fabulously frilly
with fun fringe!
I tuck them into to all kinds of cool
containers from clay to gold.
I prefer my succulents tightly potted. I’m still planting.
This vintage European bottle box
served as a simple centerpiece in our entry at a recent party and now
the garden jewels are destined for my clay urns.
Until then, I’ll fill in the gaps with bits of
the sea.

Love, love succulents, as did my mother! I remember we always had lots of them in pots when I was young. Such beauties they are! They remain among my favorites in the garden.
