Love, understated holiday tables,
especially on
Valentine’s Day,
when I like to keep it Simple & Sweet and…
fresh.
I go for simple flower arrangements,
like these pretty, ruffled
tulips, in a mason jar with
a silk ribbon.
I also love pops of the traditional Valentine’s Day
pink and red…this hobnail candle is fun, non?
AND bold patterns thrown in, keep it
fresh and a hint of vintage, with this
old berry box, to keep it
real.
Colorful &
inexpensive zigzag
tape, dresses up our
silverware and these
pretty glass bowls are just
begging for fresh berries on
jeweled picks and a little Chantilly cream.
I also fell in love with these fun
red & white striped ramekins from
World Market, especially at
less than two bucks a piece! They make great little
takeaways and teacher gifts, filled
with chocolate or conversation hearts…tie them
up with a little cellophane and ribbon and
you are good to go.
Gold, Heart shaped
pyrotechnics, will surely get the
sparks flying and add some fun to this
fresh Valentine’s Day setting, kept
simple & sweet.
Some business before I wrap up this post, I want to
sincerely thank my friend,
Sam Henderson,
@Today’s Nest for the wonderful
box of goodies which included: cool jewelry
pieces and a ‘Lola’ tote! Lucky me!
You see, I won the
#Nestchat contest! Thank you Sam! I hope
you pay him a visit. I’m also gearing up for my
Hart & Home lifestyle segment on
KOMO Newsradio tomorrow morning, at
8:15am Pacific Time! Hope you can
listen in,
