Okay, here comes a pretty little DIY Lavender Monogram Centerpiece I’ve been saving just
for this occassion. I call it a floral CAKE! Isn’t it fun?!
Here’s what I love about it…
This centerpiece idea can be tweaked to fit any occasion, any color palette, any monogram!
Think baby shower, bridal shower or birthday celebration!
Start with an inexpensive shell. I went with a wooden square I picked up at my local
Michaels for a couple of bucks.
I gave it a coat of yummy lavender hued Annie Sloan
chalk paint found HERE.
And glamed it up a bit with a little gold leaf found HERE.
I had a baking pan that fit the mold perfectly and
filled it with wet florist foam.
I grabbed some sturdy stalks of lavender and formed a litte
‘ L’ Monogram.
Next I picked up a few bunches of inexpensive white
carnation and began filling the field.
So fun…so simple…so PRETTY!
