* SWEET Picnic Feast *
Images ~ Stan McMeekin
My autumn picnic with a twist continues….
(Remember, we’re staying in!)
As they say, life is uncertain, eat dessert first and
so we shall…beginning with my
petite caramel apples on a twig!
Love.
The petite apples and ‘sticks’ are from our
espaliers! I like that they are bite sized.
Aren’t they cute!
Of course, I also had to bake up
a batch of my petite apple pies with
orange and vanilla bean crust.
These are so good!!!
Perfectly portable too, in glassine sleeves and a plain old craft
store box. I scaled down a wine bottle box
divider, to create neat little quarters for the
petite pies. You really must make these!
Next up, the main course,
That, and I’ve re-styled the kitchen…
again!
So fun, can’t wait to share,
Those apples and pies look adoreable and yummy. Enjoying your blog and I live in Philadelphia where Fall will be very welcomed after such a HOT summer.
Thank you for visiting Vera! Enjoy the cooler weather.
