I’d like to have an Oscar party where everyone wore black-tie, but the event itself would be very un-fussy and relaxed, feature lots of champagne and good food, and, if all goes well, lots of laughs.

So chic and festive!! Especially love the frame. I still need to see some of those movies. We loved Lincoln, Argo and Silver Linings Playbook!

I planned an Oscar party years ago – black-tie, red carpet, the works, but unfortunately, it never came to fruition. You’d never believe how hard it is to find red carpet (Steve searched everywhere!) Maybe one day it’ll still happen!

An Oscar party sounds like a lot of fun but Sunday evenings are hard to give up especially when the kids have school the next morning. Another idea might be to record the show and have a Monday morning brunch with the gals and fast forward to all the great speeches & fashion. BTW I loved all your gold accessories, especially the fancy gold beaded spreaders.
